Will E. Brink, 304 13th Street S.W., Cedar Rapids, a retired farmer from the Clarence vicinity, and a Cedar Rapids resident for the past 14 years, died at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids at 3:35 a.m. Monday, February 16, 1959, following a brief illness at the age of 76 years and 20 days.

He was born January 27, 1883 on a farm near Clarence to Wesley and Amanda Brink.

He was married to Mary A. Bumgarner in December of 1909. They lived on a farm about 8 1/2 miles northeast of Clarence, a mile and a half east of what is known as the Seven Mile Place, until they moved to Cedar Rapids in 1945.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter Mrs. Alvin Bieber of Lisbon, a son Donald Brink of Manly and five grandchildren. A son Emory Ellsworth and a daughter Marcella Irene Brink preceded him in death in 1916 8 days apart, the daughter on Feb. 15th and the son on the 23rd ages 1 1/2 and 4. He was also preceded in death by his mother and father.

Mr. Brink was a charter member of the Wesleyan Methodist Church at 2600 First Ave. West, in Cedar Rapids where services were held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 18th, 1959 by Rev. Clarence Budensisk of Cedar Falls.

This devoted husband and father was laid to rest in the Dayton Valley cemetery northeast of Clarence.
