Following an illness of ten days Mrs. Margaret Kennedy passed away at 11:00 o'clock Tuesday night, old age and heart ailment being the direct cause. Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 9:30 o'clock at St. Mary's Church, in Tipton.

Mrs. Kennedy was one of the oldest and most highly respected women of the city. She had been in declining health for several years, and had been tenderly cared for by her daughter Miss Dorothy, who had always been a companion for her mother.

The husband and father, William Kennedy, passed away a few years ago.
