Willie, little son of Mr. and Mrs. Fritz Beeth, died Friday evening September 9, at about 10 o'clock of convulsions, the origin of which was not known. The child was well to all appearance until he took suddenly sick at about 6:30 Friday evening and was quickly taken to a physician. At 10 o'clock on the same evening, while yet in the doctor's office, the child died. His sorrowing parents, one sister and two brothers survive little Willie to mourn his sudden death.

Willie Beeth was born on April 16, 1907, at Segeberg, Holstein, Germany. He came with his parents and sister and brothers from Germany to Massillon, Iowa, last spring. In July they came to Lowden to reside. Mr. Beeth is hauling cream. All here deeply sympathize with the bereaved parents.

Funeral occurred Saturday afternoon with services in the Lutheran church and interment in the Lutheran cemetery. Rev. Brammer officiated. Four boys were pall bearers, namely, Harold Ruprecht, Herbert Meier, Louis Meier and Herman Koehne.
