Clara Belle Flansburg was born April 2nd, 1885 to Elmer E. and Mary Nancy Flansburg near Clarence, Iowa. She was the eldest of eight children. She attended schools near there and in 1900 moved with her parents, brothers and sisters to a farm near Mechanicsville, Iowa.

In 1912 she was married to Conrad G. Oliver and with him made her home in Clarence, Iowa. After his death in 1926 she lived in various places working in homes.

For the past several years Mrs. Oliver has made her home in the Soldiers Home in Marshalltown, Iowa, where she passed away August 4th, 1958 at the age of 73 years, 4 months and 2 days.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers.

She leaves to mourn one brother J. R. Flansburg, Port Orchard, Wash.; two sisters, Mrs. Chris Peterson (Nellie), LeRoy, Minnesota, and Mrs. Alice Schoreberg, Chicago, Ill.; an uncle Walter Flansburg, Mason City, Iowa and an aunt Mrs. Belle Flansburg, Sycamore, Ill. and a number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

She was given the best of care at the Home, but God called her to him.

Graveside services were held at the Clarence Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Friday, August 8th, when she was buried beside her husband.
