Wm. Boettcher, a former meat market attendant in Clarence for several years and of recent years having employment in DeWitt, passed away in the DeWitt Community hospital on Wednesday at about midnight, April 16th, 1958 at the age of 79 years.

As far as this writer knows he leaves to mourn his passing one sister, Hilda, Mrs. Wm. Dietz of Lowden and his wife here in Clarence.

The funeral was held on Saturday at a DeWitt Funeral Home with pallbearers being Wm. Dettmann, Paul Hartwig, John Burmeister, Henry Burmeister, Ervin Burmeister and Norman Burmeister.

Interment was made in St. John's Cemetery east of Clarence.
