Last rites for Mrs. Ramona M. Bicknese, 55, were held at the Griffith funeral home in Wilton Dec. 9 with the Rev. John T. Kennedy officiating. Burial was in Oakdale cemetery.

Mrs. Bicknese died at University hospitals, Iowa City, Dec. 6, following a long illness.

The daughter of Thomas Patrick and Emma C. Lincoln Smith, she was born in Wilton July 23, 1916 and spent her life in that community.

She was married to Eric Bicknese in 1940 at Wilton. She was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic church and Royal Neighbors No. 1068.

Survivors include 2 sons, Larry W. and Jerry T.; 2 daughters, Mrs. Richard (Karen) Garrison and Mrs. Edward (Beverly) Reed, all of Wilton; her mother, Mrs. Emma Smith, Wilton; 2 brothers, Donald Smith, Wilton and Tom Smith, Lowden.
