Funeral services for Mrs. Derell Colby, 32, Mechanicsville, were held at Clinton April 12 with burial in the Clinton cemetery.

Mrs. Colby's death was ruled suicide by strangulation by Dr. Walter Kopsa, Cedar county medical examiner after an autopsy was performed. Mrs. Colby died at her home near Mechanicsville April 9.

Mrs. Colby is survived by her husband; 2 daughters, Marci and Karen, and 2 sons, Scott and Tony, all at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles D. Ryan, Clinton; 3 sisters, Mrs. Mike (Ruby) Gallo, Mrs. David (Patricia) Judge and Mrs. Harold (Carolyn) Judge, all of Clinton, and a brother, Dean Stull, Clinton.
