Funeral services for Walter Lehrman, 77, retired farmer, were held at St. Paul's Lutheran church, Stanwood March 27 with the Rev. Reginald Muhl in charge.

Pallbearers were James Oetting, James Gerber, Frederick and Arnold Lehrman, William Koch and Melvin Thien. Mrs. Everett Oetting and Mrs. Lawrence Siebels were in charge of flowers. The Men's chorus sang, accompanied by Emil Licht.

Mr. Lehrman died at University hospital, Iowa City March 24.

The son of Louis and Minnie Wenndt Lehrman, he was born at Stanwood Sept. 8, 1893. He was married to Frieda Busching at Stanwood Feb. 3, 1915.

He spent his entire life in the Stanwood community. On his retirement from farming he moved to Stanwood.

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Max (Lorraine) Taylor, Mechanicsville; 3 grandchildren, a brother, Paul, Stanwood and 4 sisters, Mrs. Bertha Koch, Mechanicsville; Mrs. Emma Bradd and Mrs. John (Rose) Gerber, Davenport and Mrs. Freida Johnson, Stanwood.

He was preceded in death by his wife, 2 daughters and a brother.
