Funeral services for Harry B. Capron, 47, were held at Anamosa March 26, with burial in the Olin cemetery with military services by the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Mr. Capron died at University hospitals, Iowa City, March 23 as the result of gunshot wounds suffered at his home March 22. He was taken first to the Anamosa hospital and then transferred to Iowa City.

Harry B. Capron, born March 15, 1924, in Cedar Rapids, was the son of Nelson and Dilcie Lindly Capron. He graduated from Olin high school and served with the army in World War II.

He was married to Catherina Folkers May 1, 1948, and had farmed in Cass township since his marriage.

Mr. Capron is survived by his wife, Catherina, and 4 children; Joan, Robert, Gary and Michael, all at home.

Other survivors include his mother, Mrs. Dilcie Capron, Anamosa; 3 brothers, Clark, Springville; Garland and Elvern, both of Anamosa; 2 sisters, Mrs. Del (Leota) Reinhart, Davenport, and Mrs. Raymond (Dolly) Stolte, Mechanicsville. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Althia Ellison.
