Funeral services for Herman Lehrman, 82, were held at St. Paul's Lutheran church March 3 with the Rev. R. M. Muhl in charge. Emil Licht accompanied the Men's choir. Mrs. Max Taylor and Mrs. Melvin Thein were in charge of the flowers.

Pallbearers were Herbert Lehrman, Leonard Luedeman, William Koch, Jim Gerber, Arvil Welberg and Melvin Lehrman. Burial was in the Stanwood cemetery.

Mr. Lehrman died at his home in Stanwood March 1.

Herman Lehrman, son of Louis and Minnie Wenndt Lehrman, was born in Cedar county, July 24, 1888. He had lived his entire lifetime in the Stanwood community, moving into Stanwood when he retired from farming.

He was married to Anna Luedeman at Stanwood, Feb. 8, 1912.

He is survived by his wife; 3 sons, Erwin, Mechanicsville and Merle and Frederick, Stanwood; a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Eloise) Wood, Cedar Rapids; 15 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 2 brothers, Paul and Walter, Stanwood, and 4 sisters, Mrs. Bertha Koch, Mechanicsville; Mrs. Emma Bradd, Davenport; Mrs. Frieda Johnson, Stanwood, and Mrs. John (Rose) Gerber, Davenport.

He was preceded in death by a son, Louis and a daughter, Pauline.
