Final rites for Henry Klahn, 94, former Durant resident, will be held at 1 p.m. today (Thursday, Jan. 7) at the Frick Funeral home in Durant. Burial will be in the Durant cemetery.

Mr. Klahn died at the Colonial Nursing home in Wheatland Jan. 4, following an extended illness.

Mr. Klahn was born in Cedar county. He married Elizabeth Schultz in 1908 at Davenport. She died in 1945.

Survivors include 4 daughters, Mrs. Walter Krebs, Stockton; Mrs. Wilbert Petersen, Calamus; Mrs. Virgil Schnede, Wheatland, and Mrs. John Voelkers, Durant; 12 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
