Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Miles, 88, Tipton, were held at the Chapman Funeral Home Dec. 3 with the Rev. James Lusher officiating. Mrs. James Sawyer Jr. was organist. Burial was in the Stanwood cemetery.

Mrs. Miles died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Brinkman, Nov. 30.

Mary Blythe was born Sept. 19, 1884 at Hale, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Levi Blythe. She was married to Emery Miles in Jones county Jan. 10, 1900. He preceded her in death.

Survivors are 2 daughters, Mrs. August (Eva) Amend, Olin, and Mrs. William (Dorothea) Brinkman, Tipton; 4 sons, Forrest, Glenview, Ill.; Harlan, Stanwood; Nelson, Pomona, Calif. and Leonard, Morton Grove, Ill., 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Leo Fall, Hale and 2 brothers, Floyd Blythe, Hale and Jerry Blythe, Martelle.
