Funeral services for Herman Hellstern, 66, Olin, were held at Davenport Dec. 4 with burial in Calvary cemetery at Rock Island. Mr. Hellstern died at Walcott Nov. 30.

He was born in Rock Island Dec. 4, 1905 and was married to Mary Troesch at Henryville, Ind., Aug. 10, 1931. He had farmed in Cedar and Muscatine counties for many years.

He is survived by his wife, a son, Joseph, Olin; 2 daughters, Mrs. Richard Budelier, Durant and Mary Ann Hellstern, Cedar Rapids; 2 grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Fuller, Davenport.
