Mechanicsville - Funeral services for Mrs. Neil Williams were held in the Horner Funeral Home July 3. The Rev. James Nelson officiated at the service.

Norman Williams, Roland Quinby, Raymond Hintz, Lowell Tvedt, Norman Potter and Edgar Hintz Jr. were pallbearers with burial in Rose Hill cemetery.

Mrs. Williams died unexpectedly in their home here Friday afternoon.

Margaret Lillian Spencer Williams was born April 14, 1913, the daughter of John Henry and Amelia Drichel Spencer at Tipton, and was educated in the Tipton schools. She married Neil Williams in Muscatine May 30, 1931.

Mr. and Mrs. Williams owned a resort in Minnesota for several years before selling it and returning to Mechanicsville.

She is survived by her husband, Neil; daughter, Mrs. Lowell (Janet) Cook and a son, John, of Clarence. Also a sister, Mrs. Mildred Hintz, Lowden and 4 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
