Mrs. Lavicy Smay, 91, mother of Cecil Smay of Mechanicsville, died in a Parsons, Kans. nursing home Jan. 4. She had been a resident of the home since Aug. 14, 1970.

Funeral services for Mrs. Smay were held in Parsons Jan. 6.

She is survived by 3 sons, Earl Norman, Fort Smith, Kans.; Charles, Parsons and Cecil, Mechanicsville and a daughter, Mrs. Helen Bump, Kingsport, Tenn.; 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, a brother and a sister.
