Funeral services for Edwin Busching, 77, Stanwood, were held in St. Paul's Lutheran church, Stanwood Sept. 20 with the Rev. Martin Stahl officiating. Burial was in the Stanwood cemetery.

Music was provided by Mrs. Carl Kohrt, vocalist, and Emil Licht, organist. Pallbearers were Cecil Spear, Harold Meyer, Melvin Oldorf, James Brendes, James Moneypenny and Gilbert Sander. Honorary bearers were Elmer Meyer, Alfred Meyer, L. W. Meyer, Don Smith, Charles Thomson, Henry Ormsby, William Davidson, Roy Flockhart and William Hansen.

Mr. Busching died Sept. 17 at the Clarence Nursing home. The son of William and Sophie Ernsting Busching he was born near Lowden Aug. 12, 1889. He married Isabell Ryan Aug. 25, 1938 at Davenport. Mr. Busching was a retired farmer. He was a charter member of the Stanwood Lions club and served on the Stanwood city council.

Survivors are his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Sherman (Dorothy) Hansen, Lancaster, Pa.; 3 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Lawrence Kline, Clarence; and 2 brothers, Henry of Tipton and Paul, Clarence.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and 2 brothers.
