Mrs. Henry Boettger, 60, a resident of Lowden for the greater part of her life, died at 10 p.m. Sunday at her home there following a six months illness.

Mrs. Boettger was born March 4, 1885 south of Lowden, received her education in the rural schools there and was married there to Henry Boettger July 18, 1907. Mrs. Boettger resided for a time in the western part of Iowa and in South Dakota. Her parents, four brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.

The survivors include her husband, one son, Leroy, of Lowden; one daughter, Mrs. Edward Richerts of Lisbon; two granddaughters; two brothers, William Rinking of Lost Nation, Ia., and Fred Rinking of Wheatland, Ia., and two sisters, Mrs. Emil Diercks of Lowden and Mrs. Earl Yocum of Lisbon, Iowa.

Final rites for Mrs. Henry Boettger were conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Zion Evangelical and Reformed church preceded by a brief prayer service in the home. The Rev. F. J. Abele officiated and burial was in the Lowden cemetery.
