Alice Sarah Agnew was born October 24, 1915, and died at her home east of town on Friday, December 17, of whooping cough with complications. Funeral services were held at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Agnew, Sunday afternoon and interment was made in the Lowden cemetery. Rev. Geo. Earhart, Presbyterian minister of Cedar Rapids, conducted the services.
