Carl Bixler, 45, of 1860 Twenty-third avenue, Moline, died at his home early Monday of heart trouble after an illness of two weeks. He had been a carpenter in Moline for twenty years. The decedent was born at Clarence, March 30, 1887, and went to Moline 35 years ago. He married Miss Olive Tilson in Moline, Oct. 29,1902. He was a member of the Wesley Methodist church.

Surviving are the widow and three daughters, Mildred, Hazel and Eleanor, four brothers and three sisters: George, Charles and Raymond of Clarence, and Ingram, Cedar Rapids; Mrs. Harry Decker, Mrs. A. D. Young and Miss Mae Bixler of Clarence. The funeral was held at Moline on Wednesday afternoon followed by burial there. Relatives from Clarence were in attendance. --The Clarence Sun.
