Services for Harold C. (Bill) Stout, 60, Cedar Bluffs, were held July 7 at Sheets and Son Funeral home, Tipton. Burial was in Shawver Cemetery, Cedar Bluffs. Mr. Stout was a life resident of the Tipton area.

Mr. Stout died unexpectedly at his home in Cedar Bluffs July 5. Pallbearers were Verne Seaton, Harry Dodds, Jr., Everett Miller, Earl Baker, Joseph Krouth and Joe Bishop. George Thordsen was vocalist at the services and Dr. Glenn Parrott conducted the funeral services.

Mr. Stout was born at Buchanan, Iowa, in 1913 and attended rural Cedar county schools. He married Pauline Fankhauser at Muscatine in 1938. He was a retired farmer.

Survivors include his wife, a son, Melvin, Cedar Rapids; a sister, Mrs. Harry (Dorothy) Wehde, Tipton and brothers, Gerald, West Branch and Carl, Cedar Rapids.
