Funeral services for Adda W. Smith, 94, were held, Tuesday, Nov. 6, at 10:30 in the United Presbyterian church in Stanwood. Burial was in Red Oak cemetery. The Rev. John-Robert McFarland was in charge.

Adda W. Smith, daughter of John and Alice Kiser Wasser, was born Nov. 28, 1878 in Cedar county. She died Nov. 4 in the Clarence Nursing Home where she had been a patient for 2 1/2 years.

She was married to Harry S. Smith, Aug. 12, 1901 in California. She was a member of the Stanwood United Presbyterian church, the O.E.S. and Stanwood Woman's club.

Mrs. Smith is survived by 3 sons, Donald W., Kenneth L. and James S.; 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; one sister, Miss Alice Wasser in Santa Ana, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, Dale and one brother. Mrs. Edwin Davidson was the organist and accompanied Mrs. John Swift, soloist. Pallbearers were Max Coppess, Elmer Meyer, Edwin Davidson, James Cousin, Lou Winston and Roy Miller. Mrs. Alma Ropa and Mrs. Alfred Meyer were in charge of the flowers.
