Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Gallmeyer, 90, were held at St. Paul's Lutheran church Aug. 9 with burial in the Stanwood cemetery. Mrs. Gallmeyer died at the Naperville, Ill., Americana nursing home Aug. 7.

The daughter of John and Caroline Lehrman Von Behren, she was born near Stanwood April 17, 1883. She was baptized in the Lowden Lutheran church and confirmed there April 24, 1898. She was married to Diedrick Gallmeyer in the Stanwood Lutheran church Feb. 22, 1906.

Mr. and Mrs. Gallmeyer farmed near Stanwood until they retired when they moved to Stanwood and lived in the old Preston place. They observed their golden wedding in 1956. She had lived in Bensonville, Ill., with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Hamilton, since 1958.

She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church since 1906 and was active in its Ladies Aid, having served as president. She was also a member of the Loyal Workers and served as president.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. Howard (Ann) Hamilton, Bensonville, Ill., and Mrs. Ray (Amelia) Burkett, Tipton; 3 grandchildren, Mrs. Ida Hamilton Moon, Naperville, Ill.; Robert Burkett, Cicero, Ill., and Scott Hamilton, Western Springs, Ill.; 3 great grandchildren, Randy, Tim, Jay and Melanie Moon; Robbie Burkett and Scott, Jeffrey and Kurt Hamilton.
