Funeral services for Willie J. Stanlake, 85, were held at the Chapman Funeral Home, Clarence, April 3. Burial was in the Clarence cemetery.

The son of William and Hattie Rogers Stanlake, he was born Sept. 9, 1887 in Clarence. He lived at Oxford Junction and died at the Anamosa hospital March 30.

Survivors are 3 sisters, Mrs. Mary Ruchman, Shelby, Ohio; Mrs. Alma Burns, Mitchell, S.D. and Carrie Stanlake, Clarence; also a brother, Elmer Stanlake, Wheatland.
