Ira J. Wright, Formerly Of Tipton, Passes Dec. 8 In Los Angeles, Calif.

Ira J. Wright was born on a farm near Tipton, and passed away Dec. 8 in St. John's Hospital, Los Angeles. Services and interment were in Forest Lawn, Glendale, Dec. 11, '48. He suffered an attack of virus pneumonia in August, and although he was up and around later, he never fully recovered from it.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Nelle Bunker Wright and three sons, Rolland I., H. Garner and Richard B., one daughter, Beverly Petersen, and four grandsons, all of Los Angeles; five brothers, Ralph of Mobridge, S. Dak.; Earl, of Davenport; Guy of Mechanicsville; Charles of Clinton and Lloyd Of Macon, Ga. Also two sisters, Ora Schroeder of Hood River, Oregon and Pearl Wright of Portland, Oregon.
