Final Rites To Be Friday For Mrs. John Weih

Mrs. John Wieh, 67, died at 3 p.m. Tuesday in her home in Bennett.

She was born Alvena Laschanzky in Cedar county, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Laschanzky, Jan. 16, 1881, and was married Dec. 14, 1905 to John Wieh. The couple farmed near Sunbury until 1939 when they moved to Bennett. She was a member of Peace Evangelical and Reformed church and of the women's guild of that church as well as a member of Doretta camp No. 8105, Royal Neighbors of America, at Sunbury.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mrs. John Hansen, Bennett; three sons, Ralph, of Tipton, and Leo and Harvey of Wilton; two brothers, Ernest Laschanzky, Wheatland, and Ed Laschansky, Delmar; two sisters, Mrs. Lilly Fox, Wheatland and Mrs. August Bartscher, of Wilton, and 11 grandchildren. Her parents and two brothers preceded her in death.

The body is in the Sheets funeral home, Tipton, from which it will be brought to Peace Evangelical and Reformed church at 11 a.m. Friday. Services will be held in the church at 2 p.m., Rev. Wayne Wetz officiating. Burial will be in the Durant cemetery.
