Isaac Zane Williams, son of Theodore and Martha Williams, was born Nov. 8, 1869, near Shellsberg in Benton county, and passed away of a cerebral hemorrhage at Belle Plaine, Iowa, May 28, 1945 at the age of 75 years, 6 months and 19 days.

He was united in marriage to Ida Lucinda Mayer on April 9, 1895, to which union five children were born. Ruth Donsted of Coquille, Oregon; Martha Reeder and Myrtle McGillvray of Carroll, Ia.; Everett of Springdale, Ia.; and Harold of the Great Lakes Naval hospital. Seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Lavon Koser and three children of Carroll, Ia., Betty Donsted of Coquille, Oregon and Wallace, Donald, LaDonna, Wayne and Delores Williams of Springdale, also survive.

His wife preceded him in death on October 29, 1930 and daughter Martha in 1925. He has one sister and four brothers surviving. Mae Mayer, Ora and George of Cedar Valley, Ia.; Charles of Springfield, Ohio; Chester of Atalissa. One sister Roxie Dutcher and one brother, Frank preceded him in death.

He lived practically all his life in Cedar county. He farmed and was superintendent of the Cedar County Home for eight years. He was a member of the Masonic Order and the Tipton Reformed church.

In Nov., 1943, he was married to Daisy Ridenour in Cedar Rapids, and lived in Belle Plaine until he passed away Monday.

Funeral services were held at the McCormick Funeral home Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. and interment at the Mt. Zion cemetery. Rev. Orville Schroer of Tipton officiated.
