Clarence - Services were held Monday in the Peffers Funeral home, Belle Blaine for Thomas Humes, Mt. Vernon. Mr. Humes was a former resident of this community. He and his wife operated the Maid-Rite Shop, Clarence for 5 years.

He is survived by his wife, a son, two daughters, a sister, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
