Clarence - Funeral services for Ernest Hulse, 63, were held at St. Joseph's church, Dubuque, at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. Mr. Hulse died May 9. He graduated from the Clarence school in 1917 and was married to Philomina King, Oelwein, December 20, 1925. She survives along with a son, Richard, Artesia, California; 2 daughters, Mrs. Harold (Margaret) Wrees, Oelwein; Mrs. Ed (Helen) Kruger, Dubuque; and Mrs. John (Donna) Walenceus, Auburn, Wash.; 21 grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Selma Ruther, Clarence; 2 brothers, Richard, Clarence, and Herbert, Old Greenwich, Conn.

Mrs. Selma Ruther, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hulse, Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Hulse, Mrs. James C. Sawyer, Mrs. Darrel Dircks and Herbert Hulse, who flew from Conn., attended the services.
