Mechanicsville - Henry M. Warmuth, 82, a long time resident of this community, died in an Iowa City hospital Thursday, April 29.

Funeral services were held in St. Mary's church Monday at 9:30 a.m. with Rev. P. J. Casey, officiating, and Horner Funeral directors in charge.

Henry Michael Warmuth, son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Warmuth, was born July 18, 1881 in Wapakoneta, Ohio. He came to Davenport in 1902 and worked as a meat cutter. Mr. Warmuth then went to Minnesota and North Dakota before returning to Davenport in 1912.

He graduated from the Palmer School of Chiropractic in 1913. On January 16, 1913 he was married to Margaret Hoyman, Stanwood. Warmuth practiced Chiropractic in Tipton, Stanwood and Mt. Vernon. He moved to Mechanicsville in 1925. Mrs. Warmuth preceded her husband in death on November 17, 1937.

Mr. Warmuth is survived by his two sons and their wives, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Warmuth, Mechanicsville, and Mr. and Mrs. Dean Warmuth, Cedar Rapids. Also surviving are three grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. Clara Davis and Mina Sue Warmuth, both of California and Mrs. Matilda Rauch, Dayton, Ohio. He was preceded in death by three brothers.

Burial was in the Stanwood cemetery. Joe Paider, Lowell Dauber, Edward Crock, Donald Driscoll, Leonard Cooney and Merven Trump were pallbearers.
