Stanwood - Mrs. Ray Andre, Hunter, N.D., a former resident of this community died Jan. 28 in Hunter. Mrs. (Nellie Porter) Andre was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Porter. She was a graduate of the Stanwood high school. In 1906, she was married to Ray Andre, Olin. They moved to North Dakota in 1911.

Survivors include a son, Ethbert, Hunter; and a daughter, Mrs. Chester Burley, Blanchart, N.D.

She was also related to Pearl, Melvin and Leo Andre, all of Lisbon and Mrs. Fred Davidson, Stanwood.
