Last Rites for Ira Hempy, 79, Friday, Anamosa

Mechanicsville - Ira Hempy, Anamosa, died in Mercy Hospital there, after suffering a heart attack in his home Tuesday afternoon.

Masonic funeral services will be held in the Goettsch Funeral home, Anamosa, Friday, Dec. 4 at 11 a.m. with burial in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Mechanicsville. Patmos Lodge 155 of which Mr. Hempy was a member will open at 9:30 a.m. Friday at the Lodge hall in Mechanicsville. W. E. Shrope will be in charge of the Masonic service.

Mr. Hempy is the father of Mrs. Merle Clifton and was a former resident of this community.
