Mechanicsville - Funeral services were held Wednesday for Mrs. Glen Unruh, 38 at 2 p.m. in the Presbyterian church with Pastor George Gallaaher, officiating. Mrs. Floyd Siver was vocalist.

Mrs. Unruh was taken suddenly ill at her home Sunday and was taken to St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids, where she died at 1:55 a.m. Monday, Oct. 12.

Evelyn Emily Kucera was born June 23, 1926 the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Kucera, at Tama. She received her education and was graduated from the Immaculate Conception School in Cedar Rapids.

On Nov. 22, 1946 she was united in marriage to Glen Unruh, Mechanicsville, and they became the parents of 6 children, Carol Ann, Sharon Louise, Douglas Gene, Jacquelyn Lynn, Pamela Jo and Wendy Jeannine, all at home.

Mrs. Unruh is survived by her husband, Glen; her children; her mother, Mrs. Frank Cernicek, Escondido, Calif.; and a brother, Donald Kucera, Pacoima, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her father and a brother.

Pallbearers were Gene Heneks, Dale Studer, James Danley, Jr., Vernon Boots, William Boots and William Koch. Burial was in Rose Hill cemetery. Horner's Funeral Home in charge.
