Funeral services were held for Mrs. Lena Achenbach, 79, in the Horner funeral home at 1:30 p.m. with Mr. Howard Anthony officiating at the service. Music by members of her church organization.

Mrs. Lena Achenbach, Cedar Raids resident for the past 5 years, died Sept. 25 after a brief illness. She was the widow of Albert F. Achenbach and both were former residents of this community.

She was preceded in death by her husband and a daughter.

Survivors include her three sons, Lester and Bernard, both of Mechanicsville; and Clarence of Cedar Rapids; two sisters, Mrs. Lydia Hines, Mechanicsville; and Mrs. Pearl Wagaman, Lisbon. Also surviving are six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Dale Wagaman, Larry Sproston, Kenneth Smith, Harold Fischer, William H. Sproston and Roscoe Groeling.

Interment was in Rose Hill cemetery.
