Stanwood - Funeral services for Mrs. Dean Tenley, 27, was held in the Stanwood Methodist church with Rev. Gordon Vickery, DeWitt, a former pastor of the Stanwood church, officiating.

Mrs. Tenley died in a Cedar Rapids hospital July 15 following an illness of three weeks.

Mrs. Ruth Swift, soloist and the choir were accompanied by Mrs. Edward Speer. Mr. and Mrs. Willard Eiler and Mr. and Mrs. Everett Oetting had charge of the flowers.

Norma Lyon was born Dec. 10, 1936 the daughter of Edgar and Gladys Clark Lyon. She was married to Dean Allen Tenley at Stanwood, June 1, 1957 and they became the parents of three daughters and a son.

Mrs. Tenley is survived by her husband and children, Dee Ann, Donna, Dianne and David, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Lyon, Wyoming.

Also surviving are four brothers, Kenneth, Wyoming; Darwin, Maquoketa; Robert, Center Junction and Eugene, Davenport.

Four sisters, Mrs. Alfred Pegorick, Center Junction; Mrs. George Zirklebach, Wyoming; Mrs. Ernest Husman, Stanwood, and Doris Lyon, Center Junction.

Pallbearers were Darrel Kleppe, Donald Kleppe, Ronald Meyer, Leonard Wieland, Charles Moffit, and Larry Horr. Burial in the Stanwood cemetery.
