Cedar County Woman Dies From Result of Injuries When Auto Goes Into Ditch

Mrs. Frank Peterson of Durant, Ia., died in Bellvue hospital in Muscatine Saturday night as a result of injuries sustained when the auto in which she was riding was ditched near West Liberty on Thursday. Mr. Peterson, who was driving the car, said that he was forced off the road by a car driven by a man named Eaton, who is employed on the farm of F. Schima near West Liberty.

Mrs. Peterson's maiden name was Laura Goettsch. She was born in Scott county, Dec. 19, 1866. Her husband and eight children survive. The children are Elsie, Vera, Viola and Abner at home, Mrs. John Smith of Tipton, Clarence of Solon and Harry of Atalissa. She also leaves a sister, Miss Clara Goettsch of Davenport and a brother Theodore of Davenport.
