Funeral services for Mrs. Ella Elizabeth Kinnan, 77, were held Sept. 11 at the Sheets and Son Funeral home with the Rev. Eugene Miller officiating. Burial was in Inland cemetery at Bennett.

Pallbearers were Fred Luedeman, Raymond Ropa, George Nanke, Charles Wagner, James Reeve and Raymond Dunston. Laura Geller was organist and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Nodurft were in charge of flowers.

Mrs. Kinnan died at University hospitals, Iowa City, Sept. 8 after a short illness.

The daughter of Ludwig and Johanna Meyers, she was born Jan. 11, 1888, and educated in the rural Scott county schools. She was married to Roy Kinnan at Big Rock June 15, 1905. She lived in the Bennett, Tipton, and Stanwood communities.

She is survived by a son, Robert, Rock Island, Ill.; 7 daughters, Leona, at home; Mrs. Viola Miller and Mrs. John (Marie) Frederick, Rock Island, Ill.; Mrs. Walter (Margaret) Schultz, Milan, Ill.; Mrs. Don (Bette) Peterman, Stanwood; Mrs. John (Shirley) Lange, Tipton; Mrs. Max (Arlene) Donahue, Tipton; 30 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
