Clarence - Funeral services for Howard Buckley, 59, were held Sept. 1 at Chapman's Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Keim officiating.

Dr. Ronald Goldsmith and Gary Goldsmith sang, accompanied by Mrs. Robert Hasselbusch, organist.

Mr. Buckley died at University hospital, Iowa City, Aug. 30. He was born April 5, 1906 at Clarence, the son of Frank and Rena Mae Robinson Buckley.

He was employed at the Clarence Co-operative elevator.

Survivors are his father, sisters, Mrs. Norman Goldsmith, Lowden; Mrs. Clifford Robertson, Davenport; and 3 brothers, Walter, Martelle; Charles, Clinton; and Roy, Lebanon, Mo.

Hubert Meier, Verlyn Krafock, Elwood Hasselbusch, Darrel Evers, Arnold Kahl and Wilmot Lendt were pallbearers. Burial was in the Clarence cemetery.
