Mechanicsville - Services were held Monday for Charles Brannaman, Jr., in the Methodist church at 2 p.m. with Rev. James Nelson officiating.

"Chuckie", the 13 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Brannaman, died suddenly at his home on Saturday, Oct. 23.

Charles Loran Brannaman, Jr. was born in St. Luke's hospital, Cedar Rapids, on March 10, 1952, the eldest son of Charles and Fonda (Worby) Brannaman. He was an eighth grade student in the Lincoln Community School, a member of the Methodist church and a paper carrier for the Des Moines Register and the Cedar Rapids Gazette.

He is survived by his parents; sisters, Roxann, Marie and Teresa; a brother, Kevin; grandparents, Mrs. Alma Brannaman, Lisbon, and Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Worby, and many friends and relatives.

Pallbearers were Jerry Harmel, Donald Worby, Dean Worby, Harold Clark, Warren Clark and David Clark.

Burial in the Lisbon Cemetery. Horner Funeral Home in charge.
