Mechanicsville - Funeral services were held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. for Mrs. Frank Blocher, 63, in the Methodist church with Rev. James Nelson, officiating.

Mrs. Blocher died early Monday morning in St. Luke's hospital, Cedar Rapids, following an illness of six weeks.

Anna Marie was born the daughter of John F. and Honora Henkle on June 28, 1902. She received her education in the Vinton high school.

She was married on Dec. 3, 1919, to Frank A. Blocher at Vinton, where they lived until moving to Mechanicsville 6 years ago. They have operated Blochers Sundries since that time.

Mrs. Blocher is survived by her husband, Frank; a daughter, Mrs. Wilson (Virginia) Kouba, Anamosa; a son, Harold R. Blocher, Milwuakee, Wis.; a sister, Elma Berry and a brother, Lester B. Henkle, both of Garrison; and five grandchildren.

Pallbearers were R. E. Seehusen, Hugh Lamont, Everett Ferguson, Merle Clifton, Elwood Rhoads and Harold Nicoll.

Burial was in the Anamosa cemetery.
