Clarence - Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. in St. John United Church of Christ for Henry Hasenbank, 77. Dr. C. W. Ebbert conducted the services with music by the church choir with Betty Hasenbank at the organ.

Mr. Hasenbank died early Friday morning, April 23. He was born Dec. 23, 1887 in Germany, the son of Henry and Marie Tanger Hasenbank. On Oct. 6, 1910 he was married to Lydia Fehling, Lowden. They farmed for a number of years and upon retiring he worked at the carpenter trade.

He is survived by his wife, a daughter, Velma; a son, Raymond, Tipton; 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Anna Klein; two brothers, John and Otto, all of Clarence.

Pallbearers were Herman Hunwardsen, John Hunwardsen, Alfred Koth, Eugene Wenndt, Grover Penningroth and Fred Bentrott.

Mrs. Tom Clemmens and Mrs. Laurena Lovell were in charge of the flowers.

Burial in St. John's cemetery.
