Funeral services for Duane N. Klatt, 67, Pleasanton, Texas, were held Saturday Aug. 26, 1989 in Hurley Funeral Chapel, Pleasanton, with the Rev. Andy Tyson officiating. Interment was in Tumlinsan cemetery, Leming.

Mr. Klatt died Aug. 24 in San Antonio, Texas.

He was born July 6, 1922 at Clarence. A resident of Pleasanton since 1939, Mr. Klatt served in the US Army during World War II. He was a member of V.F.W., the Hermann Sons Lodge #301 in Jourdanton and a member of the First United Methodist church in Pleasanton.

Mr. Klatt is survived by his wife, Bobbie, Pleasanton; a son, George, Broken Arrow, Okla.; a daughter, Mildred Klatt, Pleasanton; a brother, Henry Klatt, Clarence and a sister, Elaine C. Brown, Hodgen Okla.; 2 grandsons and numerous nephews and nieces.

Henry Klatt, who was vacationing in Minnesota for the month of August, flew from Brainerd, Minn. to San Antonio to attend the service for his brother.
