Funeral service was held Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock at the Sheets funeral home in Tipton, for Mrs. R. H. Hauck who had been ill many months. The Rev. Kenneth Carroll officiated and interment was made in Oakdale cemetery at Davenport, Iowa.

Mary Elizabeth McCosh was born in Davenport, Iowa, January 6th, 1864, and went to be with the Lord on November 18, 1951, at the age of 87 years, 10 months and 13 days. She was the daughter of James K. and Ann Philips McCosh who came to Iowa from Pennsylvania when Davenport was quite a young city. There were six children in the family, two of whom survive--her twin sister, Mrs. Ed J. Coyle of Perry, Oklahoma, and Mrs. A. S. Wilson of Davenport, Iowa.

At the age of 14 years she gave her life to the Lord Jesus Christ and served Him joyously throughout her many years. On October 10, 1894, she was united in marriage to Mr. Rudolph H. Hauck, of Davenport, and their home was in that city until 1908.

A few years were spent in Maquoketa, Iowa and in Frankfort, Indiana, until in 1918 Mr. and Mrs. Hauck came to Tipton, Iowa, and thirty-five years were lived in this community.

Beside her two sisters she leaves her husband, four daughters, Mrs. R. S. Cook and Mrs. F. L. Norris of Tipton, Mrs. Margaret Blazer of Ottumwa, and Mrs. Harold Bolton of Tampa, Florida, ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
