Final rites for Mrs. Elizabeth M. Bobzein, 59, Cedar Bluff, were held at St. Bernadette's Catholic church in West Branch July 14 with the Rev. P. W. McCoy officiating. Burial was in the West Branch cemetery.

Mrs. Bobzein died July 12 at Mercy hospital, Iowa City, after an extended illness.

Until their retirement a year ago, she and her husband had operated Bob and Betty's Tap at West Branch.

She was born Nov. 18, 1907, in Cedar county, the daughter of Frank and Rose Kress Ruzek. On Aug. 17, 1957, she was married at Dubuque to Laurel Bobzein.

Prior to living at Cedar Bluffs, she had resided in Cedar Rapids. She was a member of the Catholic faith.

Surviving are her husband; a sister, Mrs. Agnes Thompson, and a brother, Burdette Ruzek, both of West Branch; a step-daughter, Mrs. Nadine Wax of Cedar Rapids; her father, Frank Ruzek, West Branch, and several nieces and nephews.
