Funeral services for Mrs. Omer (Bernice Chandler) Wright, 69, were held July 17 at the Bennett Methodist church with the Rev. Everett Isaacs officiating. Burial was in Inland cemetery. Graveside services were conducted by the past presidents of the Bennett American Legion Auxiliary.

Pallbearers were Wilbur Eggert, Jack Treadwell, Phil and Paul Hambright, Sigfried Petersen and Earl Eggert.

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Riedesel were vocalists and Mrs. Riedesel was organist. Mrs. Dale Robbins, Mrs. Paul Hambright and Mrs. Jack Treadwell were in charge of flowers. Sheets and Sons were in charge of the services.

Mrs. Wright died July 15 at Cedar Manor following a lingering illness.

The daughter of Stanley Hayden and Mary (Ogden)Moore, she was born March 28, 1898 at Mt. Olivet, Ky. and was married to Omer Wright at Carlisle, Ky. July 9, 1917. She was educated in the rural schools of Robertson county, Kentucky.

A resident of the Bennett area for many years, she was a member of the Bennett Methodist church and the Delta Alpha Society. She was a past president of the American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by 3 sisters, Mrs. C. D. (Bessie) Thompson, Lexington, Ky. and Mrs. Nettie Barnett and Mrs. Myrtle Linville, Mt. Olivet, Ky.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1966 and by 4 brothers and sisters.
