Last rites for Mrs. Harry Dodds, 60, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Bridget's church, Nolan Settlement, with the Rev. Patrick McCoy celebrating the requiem high mass. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers were Chester Burr, Donald Benda, Arnold Driscoll, LaForest Jedlicka and William and Francis Suchomel. The choir of St. Bridget's church sang. Mrs. Francis Suchomel was organist.

Mrs. Dodds died unexpectedly at her home west of Tipton early April 15.

Margaret Bridget, daughter of Frank and Mary Maher Kessler, was born at Nolan settlement March 13, 1907 and was educated in the rural schools of Johnson county. She was married to Harry Dodds at Nolan Settlement April 15, 1944.

The Dodds' had farmed between Tipton and Cedar Bluff since their marriage.

She was a member of St. Bridget's church and the Altar and Rosary society of the church.

She is survived by her husband, a son, James; 2 daughters, Jeanne, Iowa City and Jolene, at home; 2 sisters, Mrs. Mary Donohoe and Mrs. Everett (Bridget) Irving, Solon and 5 brothers, Aolis, John, Francis, Michael and Joseph Kessler, all of West Branch.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, James.
