Last rites for Charles William Kreinbring, 84, were held Nov. 4 at Sheets and Son funeral home in Tipton with the Rev. E. H. Lauer officiating. Burial was in the Clarence cemetery.

Pallbearers were the Rev. Ronald and the Rev. Marlin Whitmer, James Whitmer, August Dettmann, Marvin Goldsmith and Leonard Kreinbring. Mr. and Mrs. Don Welty were in charge of flowers and Laura Geller was organist.

Mr. Kreinbring died Nov. 1 at the Cedar Manor nursing home following an extended illness.

The son of Carl and Whilhelmina Richman Kreinbring, he was born at Clarence Jan. 14, 1883 and received his education in the rural schools of Cedar county and the Wilton Business college.

He was married to Sophia M. Hansen Dec. 19, 1906 at Clarence. He farmed in the Tipton-Clarence area for many years and was a seed corn salesman after he retired from farming.

Mr. Kreinbring was a former member of the Evangelical and Reformed church of Tipton.

He is survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. Marvin (Mildred) Tacker, Carter Lake and Mrs. Richard (Dorothea) Ehrensing, Las Vegas, Nev., 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, a daughter, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
