Atalissa - Mrs. Addie Arresta Collison, 75, resident here for the past 50 years, died at 8:30 p.m. last Wednesday at her home in Atalissa, after a four years illness.

The daughter of Oliver and Mary Ward Smith, she was born in Cedar county on June 23, 1877, the youngest of seven children. Her oldest sister, Mrs. Clementine Bates of Fargo, N.D., is among the survivors.

Her marriage to Frederick Collison took place in 1898. Mrs. Collison was a member of the Rochester Methodist church but in recent years attended the Atalissa Presbyterian church. She was a past worthy matron of the Atalissa chapter of the Order of Eastern Star.

Surviving are three sons, Harry of Atalissa, Forrest of West Liberty and Foster of Tipton; two daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Pierce of West Liberty and Mrs. Ethel Conley of Atalissa; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and her sister, Mrs. Bates. Her husband, one son, Charles, and her parents preceded her in death.

Funeral rites were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Presbyterian church at Atalissa. The Rev. Louis T. G. Penningroth was in charge.
