Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Louisa Countryman,70, of Tipton, who died at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Thurston nursing home here were held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Sheets funeral home.

The Rev. Clarence Brown officiated. Burial in the Masonic cemetery here.

Mrs. Countryman was born in Tipton June 16, 1882, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Clark.

She is survived by eight children, six sons, Wallace, Clinton; Warren, Oakland, Calif.; Kenneth, Maysville; Roger, Charlotte, Ia.; Donald, New Hampshire; and Max, Omaha, and two daughters, Mrs. Francis Cihla, Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Thomas Brick, West Branch.
