Eugene Countryman, Well Known in Tipton, Summoned Sunday
Charles Eugene Countryman passed away at the Thurston Nursing Home Sunday evening, Sept. 23. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 26, at 2 o'clock at the Sheets funeral home with Rev. Leo Wolfe officiating, and interment was in the Masonic cemetery. Mr. Countryman, born in Anamosa Nov. 17, 1884, is survived by his wife; several sons and two daughters: Wallace of Clinton, Warren of Bellflower, Calif., Max of Omaha, Neb., Kenneth of Stockton, Ia., Mrs. Francis Brick of Cedar Rapids, Roger of Goose Lake, Ia., Mrs. Thomas Brick of West Branch, and Don of East Rochester, N. H., two brothers, Lee of Tipton, and H. L. of Wyoming; and two sisters, Mrs. Nial Paul of Wyoming, and Mrs. Harry Dice, of Pamona, Calif.
