Mrs. John Miller Succombs at O. J.

Oxford Junction - Funeral services for Mrs. John (Elizabeth M.) Miller, 79, who died at Mercy hospital, Cedar Rapids, Sunday morning, June 2, following a heart attack, were held Tuesday, June 4 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Mark's Lutheran church with Dr. E. A. Piper officiating. Burial was in the Massillon cemetery.

She was born October 9, 1888 in Cedar county, the daughter of Henry and Caroline Geadelmann. She was married to Lambert Schutt on August 6, 1908. He died in 1918. She was married to John Miller on November 18, 1920 in Maquoketa. They farmed in the vicinity until their retirement in 1957. She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran church.

Survivors include her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Viola) Wead of Washington, Ia., a son, Norman Schutt of Oxford Junction, 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
